We put together little packages with candy in them and I had figured out the print and cut feature on my Silhouette crafting machine and made these cute little ghosts! Needless to say I am going to be using this feature a little more!! (side note they just upgraded their software and it is awesome and free if you have a Silhouette machine...which I do and I love it)
We went to about 10 neighbors and rang the doorbell and when they answered Drew gave them their cute little packages and said "happy halloween" It was a great way to meet some neighbors and also warmed Drew up for trick-or-treating! (my mom had stopped by so she watched Carter so Drew and I could do this real quick)

The next night was trick-or-treat night. I wanted to dress Drew up as a monkey but I hadn't gotten his costume yet, I thought I could go to the store and get one the week of halloween. WRONG. And since Brad's sister Diane had sent the banana outfit for Carter its not like I could SWITCH Drew's costume last minute! A banana is much cuter when it has a monkey to go with it! So I put a call out on Facebook for a monkey costume and someone came through for me! so I got to borrow one instead! I just had to buy him brown sweatpants to go with it. I was super impressed that Drew would even wear the costume, but he was excited about it.

We did not take Carter trick-or-treating it was a little chilly out for him so he stayed pack with PaPa G to hand out candy at our house. (Brad had to work so his parents came down to help me out so I could take Drew trick-or-treating)

Drew did great! He went up to the doors and knocked and said "trick-or-treat" I forgot to prep him with a joke or a trick so if anyone asked he just made a Monkey sound. He was totally into it and after we got done with one house he would say "lets go to the next one!"
(As we were walking I noticed this monkey costume didn't have a tail.....oops)

After trick-or-treating we packed up the kids and went to go surprise daddy at work so he could see them in their costumes. If you were in the Altoona Target that day you would have heard a little boy YELLING "Daaaaddddyyyyy wheerrre aarrre yoooouuuuu!" When we finally spotted him he RAN as fast as his little monkey feet would run up to him. Fun Stuff!

That was a fun night for Drew (well for all of us). When people gave him extras - his eyes just popped! He was the cutest little guy out there so why wouldn't they give him more than one piece! Loved it!
I just giggled over the cuteness of the monkey and the banana. Aww!
