Carter - 1 Month

 I've seen other people do this with their kids. Its super fun to see how much they grow each month.  I wish I would have done something like this with Drew.  Guess 1st born gets lots of pictures and 2nd born gets better pictures? er something like that.  Anywho....

Here is CJ at 1 Month old! I can't believe its been a month already.  He is awake more and more and I feel smiles just around the corner.

He is over 8lbs.

21 inches long

90%  for height.  30% for weight

Awake at night

STRONG head and legs

Has been to the Doctor 5 times already.

   1 - checkup - thrush

   2 - appt for trouble pooping

   3 - checkup on thrush and pooping

  4 - special dr for thrush, they tested him for HIV.  This came back negative (duh)  {poor guy had to get poked 4 times for the to find a vein to give them enough blood}  They tested for HIV b/c he wasn't getting over the thrush and thought maybe he had a immune defect.  He is HEALTHY, just has a stubborn case of thrush (which is healing quite nicely now with a second dose of meds)

  5 - Today we see a surgeon for his belly button...he has a herniated umbilical cord and the doctor thinks maybe this is why he is fussy at times.  Well see what the surgeon says.

  Thank God for Insurance!

He eats 4-6 oz at a time.

Spits up if you don't burp him often

Does not like to be put down. ;)
