Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend this weekend. We started the weekend off by going to a Drake Basketball Game. Drew got a ball they threw out into the crowd and he also got to meet Spike. He liked Spike from a far, but when he came up to sit by us, he wasn't to sure. He couldn't get away fast enough. It was funny....just a preview of what Santa is going to be like this week????

Drew also had his First Christmas with the entire Veenstra Family. Every year we get together, rent the sully gym and eat and play games. We had plenty to eat and played Bunko. Drew had LOTS of fun with Grandpa Veenstra 'playing' hockey. Drew likes toys that are 2wice his size....aka giant hockey stick. He also got his first Christmas present, a puzzle! He liked taking the pieces out and chewing on them. The puzzle makes noise as well, we just have to put batteries in it.

Sunday we just relaxed around the house and played and played. I made lunch (a Mexican casserole) and left it on the counter to cool before I put in in the fridge for leftovers. I keep forgetting we re-arranged the living room and the couch is next to the counter and Emma can get to the counter. I was talking to the Gaskills on Skype and looked over and see Emma up on the couch ......yep you guessed it. Eating our casserole! She ate all the cheese off the top...Naughty Emma or as we say "Emma no no".
