THEY.HAD.A.BLAST.
He originally wanted to go to chuck-e-cheese, so I obviously was trying to think of something else to change his mind. I was talking to my boss and he said that his boys went to a party at Chows gymnastics and they had obstacle courses set up for them. BINGO!!
I suggested this to Drew and he LOVED it. (phew!). I ordered some cheap headbands and put everyones name on them. I decided not to stress myself over the cake this year, so I just ordered red/white/blue cupcakes from Hy-vee. I just made the circle's for the top and put them in the cupcakes. And a yearly favorite, drink wraps for the Gatorade. There was not 'prefabbed' items for American Ninja Warrior so we had to get a little creative and basically had a red white and blue theme. It worked. :)
Parker took it upon himself to hand them out when our guests arrived. He is quite the party kid.
I made this shirt for Drew. He was pretty pumped that he was the only 'really' ninja warrior. ;)
They sang Happy Birthday and then threw him in the pit.
All the crazy kids that could come.
