I decided instead of going back and trying to catch up I will blog about the current and catch up when I can. The boys got picked up at 8pm tonight to celebrate Christmas with the others, so I had some time to work on my own photos. We get them back at 8pm Christmas eve and we are so excited to get them back (yes, we just had them, but seriously miss them as soon as they are gone). Look, I'm so excited to be blogging again I'm just rambling. [breathe]
Last weekend we spent Christmas with my parents in a cabin just over the Missouri border. My parents have some friends that own it and they were gracious enough to let us rent it from them for a couple of days. We lounged in our pjs a lot and showered as little as possible. Had devotions (of course, my dad was there) and played some games and basically were entertained by the boys. Shoot. I do not have any pictures of my dad doing devotions...I should probably try to get that sometime.
Anywho...here are a ton of pictures for your viewing pleasure. I am in ONE of them, the benefit of having the camera. I am there, just BEHIND the pictures. Most of them are of the boys..of course, in their pjs and in a bad-need-of-a-haircut glory.
When we arrived on Friday we celebrated Drews birthday, had a cookie cake from Cranberry Stone, and he opened a few birthday presents. Since Drew's birthday is Christmas Eve, he pretty much gets his birthday celebrated all month.......at least that is what Parker thinks. :)
Parker was very impressed with the strike of the match = fire.
Took a picture of Parker eating his LARGE cookie piece...and busted mom in the background. Did not notice this until I was going through the pictures.
The little dogs got spoiled...a lot. Yes they are in pjammers.
'pretend' Christmas morning......
All the stockings were hung
Our tree
mom...very little people are reading my blog...so no need to freak that you are in your pjs.
Went for a little walk after gifts to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.
My Dad ran ahead with the boys. (sooo much energy!)
They hid behind this woodpile. (can you spot them?)
Then ran out to scare us.
Who knows what stories he is telling them...probably plotting some trouble. These three are trouble.
Mom. both pictures I took your eyes were closed....really?!? lol
ONE shot...self timer and I ran up the hill. This is what you get. Good thing you can't smell through pictures yet, I'm pretty sure my mom kept saying 'but I haven't showered yet'. So here is us in our weekend best. ;)
There was a 'little' snow....so a mini snowball fight started happening.
Then mini snowmen.
My dad had a ton of little crafts planned for the boys. (they love crafts). Here is their marshmallow shooter. (side note: I found marshmallows in my purse yesterday)

because I can.....
ALL the boys in there pjammers. --my 2 boys have the cheesiest smiles. #sigh.
