Valentines Day Cards

Drew needs to bring Valentines for his classmates at daycare on Monday.  I was blog hopping and I was reading Summertime Designs and saw an idea that I couldn't pass up!  I believe she used a 4x6 prints with full sized tootsie pops.  I used Wallet size prints with dum dum suckers.

As Drew gets bigger I may up it to the 4x6 prints but I thought wallet sized worked pretty good.  (yes, I will probably do this every year)

I found this idea Monday so I had to do some quick picture taking.  If I had time to plan I would have put Drew in a Valentine Day shirt (his shirt was orange and I changed it to red..shhhhh) and had him hold his hand a little differently (see Summertime Designs pictures) BUT he IS only 3 so I am lucky I got the picture I did!

First you need your prints:

I think I did 15 wallets so I got 60 valentines for like $6.00 at Costco.

Your Suckers.  I was looking for the mini tootsie pops but when you are in a rush you take what you can find!  Not sure what I paid for these $3.00 maybe?

So for approx. $.15 (or less) for each Valentine = NOT too shabby!!

Something to punch holes with, I used these:

and Wah-la!  CUTEST IDEA EVER! Wish I would have come up with it.  Not "perfect" execution in my book but pretty happy with the final product none-the-less.

All ready to be brought to daycare on Monday!
