I had these 16x20 canvas laying around b/c I've been adhering pictures to them so I let him paint them.
He did a great job! I dug through my art supplies and got a brush out for him instead of using his fingers. I stripped him down to his birthday suit and He went to town!
This painting was for daddy for his office at work.
He kept saying "look mommy, I'm painting"
This is the start of his second painting. The picture below is a rabbit. Incase you were wondering.
He would explain what he was drawing pretty much the whole time.
He was very into it. The second painting he said he was painting for him.
Then he got this idea to scratch the paint away and then repaint again.
I've been saving these egg cartons and they came in handy for painting!
We will be doing this again VERY SOON. Its works great that he is in the tub b/c then the mess is contained and clean up is a breeze!

I loved this. The end result was absolutely wonderful. Next time tell him Grandma needs some artwork for his room down at the lake so he needs to make something "lakeish" for down there. Nice Job Drew!
