Colorado So Far

Made it to Colorado!! I flew FRONTIER which I would recommend to anyone. I flew on a HUGE plane to Denver and even had TV to watch on the seat in front of me. Nothing says flying like watching Hanna Montana at 20,000 feet. I didn't have to pay to check my bag and everyone was super nice. When I got to Denver I noticed that they tore off my wrong boarding pass, the tore the boarding pass to my flight to Colorado Springs (ok, so maybe I handed them the wrong one, details details) but it was no problem, they just printed me off a new one in Denver.

I got off the plane in Denver and saw my friend Amy was waiting for me. I have not seen Amy for probably 8 years, CRAZY! We then went over to wait for Jenny to land which was only 10 minutes after myself. Its great when you have friend that you can pick up right where you left off even if you haven't seen each other in forever.

Right away we started meeting interesting people. The information desk lady at the airport was named VICTORIA and she writes poems, talked to us about the suicide rate of soldiers in Colorado Springs, asked us if we had our own Guardian Angels and that hers was named Ben. Ben helped her on the way to work that morning because she was running late......She also told us of a chant that we had to say to get Jenny a man. "Saint Anne, Saint Anne, find Jenny a Man as fast as you can..." and then she had us chant it in the airport...yep you get the picture.

We peeled ourselves away, and when to get our rental car. The rental car attendant told us that our truck space was big enough for 2 bodies. OK. Check.

We met these people and we haven't even left the airport yet. Last night the 3 of us were deciding what we were going to do today (We picked up Carrie at around 10pm at the airport and meeting Megan and Rachel today) and we decided last night that we wanted to bike ride down Pikes Peak...which starts at 6:45am and gets done at noon. Yep...you read correctly. SO, we called and of course they were not open anymore so we set our alarms for 5:30am and got up and called the place to see if they had anymore spots open this morning. NOPE they are booked...bummer. So here I am awake at 7:00 and have been up since 5:30am...we were WAITING on the breakfast.

We still might do the bike ride thing another day and we want to go rafting. I should have some more good stories to tell. =0)

We are still at the hotel and going up to our cabin today, so I don't know if they will have Internet there. If so I will update...if not you will have to wait until I get back. Suspense...I know.

Well, Breakfast is waiting..................

It sounds like you will be having a blast! It's fun when you can just pick up where you leave off. Have a wonderful time and can't wait to hear of your adventure when you get to internet access or home...whichever comes first.
