Camping - Part 4

May 27th - Day 3...well the first part anyway. This one is being split up.

Everyone woke up and just hung around the campfire.  They boys were super hero's with blankets and towels.  gotta love it.  P still didn't feel 100% :(

The Avery boys decided to stick around so Nick took them fishing on his fishing boat.

Ok. this is what you do.......

lol.  Nick thought we were going FISHING.  He didn't realize the boys would be happy catching what he calls bait.

They just dropped their line in the water (no casting) and waited....and waited....

....I think we heard every 2 seconds.  "Can we reel it in now? how about now"

They did not catch anything, even with a fish finder.

Drew started being silly

There was a lot of this that went on while camping. :)

After we got back from fishing we waited for people to arrive for Parker's birthday.  It was hot so I decided to go get the boys popcycles from a place down the road.  I left my camera with Drew asking him to watch it.  (only way he would let me go).

He and Parker fell asleep so Brian took it away from him.

When I came back he was crying because when Brian took away the camera he woke up and he was not happy that the camera was gone.  Mom and popcycles made it better though.

The guys went over to play ladder golf so of course the little boys wanted to play too.  Well Drew tossed them up and they got stuck in a tree.

Nick was trying to get it out with a fishing pole and Clayton with his roping skills.  Turns out they needed both worked together and got it out.  "Team work!"

Papa Chris arrived for Parker's birthday.

Papa Chris played baseball with Drew.  Parker has zero interest at the moment...and he wasn't feeling 100% so he was pretty much stuck to Brian.

The Guys played ladder golf some more (after getting their golf balls back)

Drew made a Happy Birthday Parker sign.  I gave him the letters and he did it!

Everyone was finally there so Parker opened gifts.  You can tell the poor little man still was not feeling well.

He had a Jake and the Never-land Pirates birthday party.  He loved the pirate earring and Captain Hooks hook.

I made labels to go around the water bottles. :)

THEN we did water balloons.  This perked Parker up.  Everyone had a BLAST.  I had a hard time taking pictures because there was so much going on all at once.  Hilarious.

See Brian in above picture protecting something...I may have hit him there with a water balloon 5 minutes earlier.....

So good to see a smile on Parker's face.

The boys got these masks from Nana.  They love them.  Drew loves Yellow and Bumblebee transformer is the bomb. :)  He likes it so much that he doesn't even care that Parker's Iron man makes cool noises.  phew!

They also got bug catchers.  These two are afraid of bugs...but they had no problems trying to catch them. :)  052712_Camping_Memorialday_0256.jpg

Parker also got a water gun for his birthday and was nice and let Drew play with it.  Drew is really good at talking people into taking him down to the water to get if filled up.

P.S. Drew loves the Pirate bandana.  I think he wore it the rest of the camping trip.
