Energy Game

Last Friday we went to the Energy Basketball game.  (My friend Jamie got us free tickets while she was shopping at Hy-Vee. Thanks Jamie!)  Brad had to work so Kyle and Sasha went with Drew and I.

Drew. Had. A. Blast.

He LOVES Basketball and he was super excited to go to the "Big Fat Basketball game"

Sitting with Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sasha.  Drew was probably talking about the game here. =0)

I laughed when I saw this picture.  It looks like it is really painful for Drew to smile in a picture with me. We could barely get him to take his eyes off the game.

He loves popcorn. He may or may not have had this for supper.

Seriously intent on the game.  (I heart my 50mm 1.4 lens)  Do you so the game in his eyes!?

side note - do you see the tattoo on his face.  He was not happy with me when I washed it off 3 days later.  *sigh* He wants in back.  I'm in trouble.

Back to the game.  This was the half time show and it was actually pretty neat.  She balanced bowls on her feet and then flipped them to her head.  Pretty amazing. I couldn't do it....(I'm pretty sure)

See the mascot in the lower left of the pictures?  If you ask Drew about the game he will tell you he saw a Mascot.  He was pretty obsessed with him.  We were sitting way up high so he never got close to us.  Drew has really good eye sight, especially when it comes to Mascots, Basketball games, and Popcorn.

oh....and I LOVE Dip N' Dots.  I get them whenever I see them, even though they are way over priced I can't help myself.  My favorite is Banana Split, but they didn't have that kind *gasp* so I had to settle with Cookie Dough.

The love of basketball...hmmm..wonder who influenced him on that one! :) Love the intensity of his focus towards the game. Some day we will be watching him out there on the court!
