Treasure Hunting 2010

Remember last year I blogged about all the "treasures" we found in Norwalk at pick up days?  Well it was that time again!  I wasn't going to go this year because I am trying to clean out the house and I didn't want to move more stuff.  However, Brad, Drew and I went on a short little walk and came across these treasures I COULD NOT PASS UP.  But in my defense, they were good finds and that is all I got this year.

As Brad and I were picking this one up it only had one chair.  The owner came out and said "do you want the other chair that is not broken too?" umm yes please. =0)  Too funny!!  The said 'broken' chair just needs a couple of screws to be put back it it and it will be as good as new.

Drew LOVES School Buses.  If we see them on the way to daycare it is going to be a good day. =0)  So imagine his excitement when I found this little gem.

My Mother-in-law and her crazy wonderful pirates friends came down to see what they could find.  They left with a little more......between all of them on Saturday filled a trailer full to take back to Marshalltown, and they came back on Sunday for more and even went out in the rain!  I drove them around on Sunday but I didn't pick up one thing for my self....they on the other hand left with another trailer full.  They are super fun and hilarious to drive around and I'm glad they let me tag along.
