I'm sure this will be the first of many posts of Lake Fun.
Drew and I got to hang out all day Sunday. Brad had to work and Gaskill's had to go up North.
After his nap we went and hung out by the water. The rule at the lake is that if Drew goes anywhere NEAR water he has to wear a life jacket. I'm not sure where his normal life jacket got placed (I'm sure its on the boat) so I found this one. Not normally a fan of character things, but at least if he fell in he would float. Can't be too picky when it comes to safety!! (oh yeah, and I made him wear his hat, he typically doesn't like to wear it but he actually listened to me for once)

see, he's not happy ALL the time. He was very upset that he coudn't eat his ice cream fast enough and it was melting on him, he has it so ROUGH!

Poor Drew- what suffering he has to go through eating his ice cream! Looks like you had a nice relaxing afternoon.
In his defense, I cry when my ice cream melts all over me too.
I think we are all hoping that by the end of the summer he will be wanting to go to the lake to jump in and play in the water. Good to break him in slow. Glad someone can use the house to it's full potential since Papa doesn't want to move down there yet. Someday! Enjoy it and relax....like I had to tell you guys that anyway!?!?!
