The Need for Speed

The other day we needed to mow, so Brad borrowed the neighbors rider so he could give Drew a ride and he can mow the lawn in half the time. Don't they look like they are having fun. Ha!

I love these two!

Another person for the need for speed...is apparently ME. Brad can no longer call me a slow driver. I haven't even had my car a month, haven't even made the first payment yet, and I get pulled over. I think it must drive a little faster then my CRV. I GOT A SPEEDING TICKET TODAY. My first one EVER. Unbelievable. I was on my way to pick up Drew after work and apparently the speed limit is 25.....SLOW...Apparently he clocked me going 38 in a 25..OOPS. He dropped it to 35...so nice of him. $85 later nice. He also gave me a warning because I didn't have my registration in the car. I tried to explain to him I JUST GOT MY CAR and I don't have it yet and showed him my dealership papers. Least he didn't give me a ticket for that too, I would have fought that one. I got home though, checked the mail and guess what was waiting for me...my REGISTRATION. See cop man, I was telling the TRUTH. Oh joy. He pulled someone else over right after he was done with me, he was on a roll and giving no warnings. Must need some money in West Des Moines. I can now sleep tonight knowing I did my part to help fund West Des Moines.

Its been a bit since I last posted. Drew's lip is back to normal. We are both over our Hand, Foot and Mouth virus. We still have colds, but we can handle that. =0) I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow of the little guy. He is growing so fast.

You little speedster! Those new cars do that to people. I'm sure the city of DM appreciates your donation. Love the pictures. It's a good father/son project to mow the lawn but I'm sure Brad is just grooming Drew into doing it himself some day. Drew will have to fight papa for rights to mow at the lake however!
