Drew is still at home with Hand, Foot and Mouth Virus (for those of you just finding this out...Drew has been home since Monday with this virus, he has sores in his mouth and its really sore). My mom came down to watch Drew today and they were playing outside. He was running and he tripped and fell.....onto the raised ledge from the driveway to the garage....catching himself with his FACE...er...LIP.
Apparently there was LOTS OF BLOOD, most of it got on mom I think. His teeth are ok and he did not need stitches....he just has a REALLY GOOD POUTY LIP.
Mom took this picture soon after it happened and after they were both cleaned up. I'm not sure who felt worse, Grandma or Drew.
I took these when I got home and its already gone down some.

His POOR LITTLE mouth. You can see his gums are all red from his virus, his sores are in the back of the throat and you can't see that in this picture. I think he is teething on top of all of this..JPG)
I'm sure this won't be the last time he has a bump or bruise...but Please pray for fast healing for this little monkey. His mouth is taking a lickin' this week.

OH that poor baby...it looks so painful...I hope you don't catch it too!

Ouch! I can imagine the scene and if it had been me I would have been crying right with Drew! We are praying for the little guy.

yep I was crying right along with Drew! For all you who check up on this- he was looking much better already by Friday afternoon when G-ma & G-pa Gaskill picked him up from our place.-- G-ma Veenstra
