So Brad and I started a tradition with Drew. Once every quarter he gets to go to a Grandparents house for the entire weekend without us. Rotating which side he goes to every quarter. That way he can get spoiled (even more than usual) without the watchful eye of his parents at least 4 times a year. This weekend is the first weekend and he is with Gpa and Gma Gaskill. (My parents get him in June....we thought of the quarter idea late in the 1st quarter so we had some leniency).
I'm sure in the coming years we will look forward to this peace and quiet....but right now we miss him very much. It is hard not to drive there and get him back right now. =0) We know he is in good hands so we are staying put.....distracting ourselves with cleaning, catching up on shows, laundry, and going to dinner tonight at a restaurant where it doesn't have to be 1 year old tolerant and possibly a movie. ...and hoping he is missing us just a little bit! =0)

Awww...that sounds like fun, but I would miss my little guy terribly too!
If you want to come get my kids, you can have them! LOL! So where did you end up going for supper?
