Not just peaches and cream

I miss blogging.  #truestory.

With Facebook, twitter, instagram, its hard to make blogging #1 of your social media sharing.  I've been extremely busy with work and just life in general.  Also I used to be able to blog and just not care who reads it.  I've been feeling restricted and held back.  I don't believe that is what a blog should be.....

The past couple of years I have not wanted to share what is going on in my life because well I don't want everyone to read it. and by everyone, honestly I mean the others.  I don't know whats going on in your life so why should you know about mine?  I only know what goes on in half of my sons world.  Do you know how hard it is to only share HALF?  To only know HALF of your son, when as his mother I should know ALL?  To be told that what goes on in his life at his dad's is NONE of my business.  It's hard I tell you. Hard. And until you've been through it you have NO IDEA.

I also can't stand that other people (besides my husband, yes I said husband...still getting used to that again, but I like it) have a say in what I do, where I live, etc etc.   I know I should just let go and LET GOD.  I like to be in control so it is one tough challenge for me.

So I just post peaches and cream posts and can't be totally honest because its just not a good idea to post that stuff....like drama and things blown out of proportion.  These boys are LOVED I tell ya. LOVED.

I really don't know the point in this post other than the fact I wanted an honest.... ok half-way honest post.  They may never read this blog, but I doubt it.  If it were flipped i would be checking it everyday, just to get a glimpse of what his life is like over there.

I probably....ok so I do HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO SAY but I'm restricted so here's to a new 2014 no longer being a Gaskill and on to being a Davis (as soon as I get my name switched, its on my one-million and ten things to do list)  Speaking of that list, this blog post was not on it so I must be procrastinating....better get back to it. :)
