LEDGES State Park

Phew!  are you enjoying a post a day?! By the time you are reading this we will have the boys back so I'm sure I'll get behind again!  But it is so worth it!

On the 9th we both took the day off and took the boys to Ledges State Park where boys can be boys.  It was the HOTTEST day of the summer so far but we walked in the water and they had fun.

Fist we had a picnic.  Gotta feed our bears. :)



Parker has started making this face when I point the camera at him.

And we are off!  Brian carried the back pack cause I had the camera. :)  Great deal I think.







The whole time they were OBSESSED with catching Minnows.  They think they can catch them because remember last year (the minnows were dead when they were catching them).  We broke the news to them but they didn't believe us.  Go figure.  Next time we will have to bring a net.

We hiked up a couple of trails.  Parker was jumping on each stone saying "Boing, Boing, Boing"

Water Break.  They thought it was cool to drink out of a back pack.

Yes I made them stop for another picture..they were less than thrilled. :)



I think we chose the wrong path. Yikes!  We had to climb down a rock with the boys.  jeezy pete.

  

We said we were going on an adventure and we sure had one.



Drew kept saying "Parker, you sure picked a hard level"



(yes my child has painted finger nails....he came home from his dad's this way)  (I don't ask)



The rule of today was to get as dirty as you want to.  They succeeded
