Missouri - Continued

Later in the afternoon we convinced Parker to get some fresh air and walk to the river again.

Brian's mom let me borrow her boots (without holes in them). I might need to get myself a fun pair if we are going to do this often.







Deer head - ewww

On the first trip to the river Drew was NOT going to touch it.  His words "that's disgusting"

Of course Parker will touch it.

and pick it up







Well, not to be outdone...if Parker touches it, Drew can too.

   

The sun was getting a little warm so Drew shed his shirt.

   

Hippo found a little frog

Drew actually touched it!

So did Parker

Drew even let Brian set it on his hand

On the way back Parker found an empty turtle shell.  He put it by the deer skull so they could be together.  He is such a sweetie pie.

He's getting used to this walking in the river thing

They just TOOK off.  Love it

and then Drew fell down

and picture taking was done for the day. :)  I cannot take pictures and carry a 5 year old.  

Oh my word I am not going to be able to do that much longer.

We had a fabulous time and I love seeing the boys be boys.  

Next post will be visiting Brian's dad and hiking (again!)
