(side funny note, when Drew saw this picture he asked who was holding him...I must look different now? lol)
I truly cannot believe 5 years have past and Drew will be starting Kindergarten in the fall! I'm not a crier but I'll probably cry. Drew is smart, funny, nosey, sassy, loving, ornery, and one of a kind.
Since his birthday falls on Christmas Eve I usually have his birthday party a couple weekends before. (According to Parker this makes Drew's birthday last FOREVER. ha!) This year I decided that since he was turning 5 that he could have a friends party. I held it at the Ankeny Playground for Kids and it was great! I'm glad I didn't have all those kids at my house!! :)
His cake. I got a wild hair and made the cake myself this year. I don't think I will tackle a two tier cake again. I'll just stick to the basics and leave the fancy stuff to the pros.

Kids in line getting the rules

They just ran around so fast most my pictures are a blur!

Lining up to go to the BIG room.

Our neighbor Harrison was telling us what he got Drew. It was hilarious

If you haven't figured it out yet...Drew's favorite color (for right now) is RED.

He wanted to grab his own presents (of course) [Mr. I'll do it myself unless I want you to do it]

Handing out his goodie bags

Stayed up till 2am making these. I originally got all the kids socks (because they need socks at this place and I thought it would be cool if they all had super hero socks) but when they came in the mail they were ADULT socks. #fail. So my cousin Julie had this bright idea to turn them into hot/cold packs. So I went to the store and got rice, dug out my sewing machine..and WALA!

Thank you to everyone who came! We had so much fun!
