Pumpkin Patch 2012

Last weekend Nana and Hippo came up to visit.  We decided to take the boys the the pumpkin patch.  It was a perfect day.  The weather was perfect, it wasn't SUPER busy, Drew kept his underwear poop free......you know. The perfect day. :)

They boys had a blast again this year.  Seeing smiles on their faces, puts a smile on my face.





Drew still isn't a fan of Mascots. :)

Nana and Hippo spoiled the boys and got them food to feed the animals.

Drew dumped his food and wasn't too sure about feeding the goats directly.

Parker on the other hand got his $$ worth and fed the goats ONE. PIECE. AT. A. TIME.

Then off too feed the chickens.  Thank goodness they just poured the food down a shoot. :)

The ran in and out of the 3 little pig houses.  It was a challenge getting pictures of them because they were on the move all the time.



He hates it when I do this to him. :)  But I can't help it.



All American Farmers



The tractors were not working very well this year, the steering was a little off.  Drew was letting me know how he felt about that.



The could actually work the pumps this year.  They were concentrating so hard!



The CORN POOL was a HUGE hit again.





Getting them BOTH to look at me and smile at the same time is a challenge.  I love them.





Oh boy. THE HUGE SLIDE.  Drew said he DID NOT want to go down the slide.  So we sat at the bottom and watched people go down while Nana, Hippo, Brian, and Parker went down the slide.

They went back up for a second time and Drew whispers to me "mom, can we do that?" UM YA!

So we RAN up to the top and hopped in line with them and HE WENT DOWN THE SLIDE! So proud of him. He had fun. :)  I do not have any pictures because well, he was on my lap.  

Time to go pick out our pumpkins!!!

Searching for the perfect pumpkin.  Drew's pumpkins name is JOE.



Parker wanted a BLUE Pumpkin.
Me: "Parker, I don't think there is a such thing as a Blue Pumpkin"
Some random kid at the patch: "Yes there is!"-and he had one in his hand.
SERIOUSLY!

Parker was SO happy when he found his little blue pumpkin, which he named "Rio"

  

Last year we took a picture like this.  They love looking at those pictures and Parker told me before we went "I want a picture just like this with my dad again".  Happy to oblige little man.
