Mother's Day in Pella

Have I mentioned sharing stinks.  We had to give Parker back to his mom on mothers day. We missed him so much but I totally get it and understand.  sigh.

We decided to go to Pella on Mother's day (last minute, its the veenstra way...) :)

WE ACTUALLY had fish, but I took pictures of the hot dogs.  That is what I ate.



My parents nice grass hill started sliding down during some HUGE rain they got awhile back.  So they've been working on a retaining wall.  Its huge.  You don't need grass to have fun though. :)

  

 

Drew has a pretty good arm and great hand/eye coordination.

This man.  Well he's mine and you can't have him. :)
His heart melted my heart before these eyes ever did.



Just the way I like it! Dessert was ready before the main meal. YUM!



Here is the fish.

Aunt Pam and Uncle Dennis were there too.  

After lunch Papa wanted to take a little nap so I came up with Sidewalk Paint.  (LOVE PINTEREST!)

  

Huge hit.  Did you know Drew's favorite color is Yellow?

  

Uncle Kyle even got into the fun. :)



They were painting roads for his cars. :)

  

He was drawing pink roads for me. :)  sweetie pie.

  

My mom was even painting! :)  fun for all!

  

One thing about figuring out some settings on my camera...I have more 'keeper' pictures.
