Brian caught wind that I had never been to a rodeo before, so when THE WORLDS TOUGHEST RODEO came to Wells Fargo, of course we HAD to go! It was a TON of fun and I love going out and doing different things out of the ordinary. (plus, it makes for a good blog post right!?) :)
These first couple pics I took with my phone and you probably saw them on facebook. Have I mentioned that I love my phone and all its apps??
Ready to go! Cowboy boots and all! (Thanks Jamie!!)

Gotta love self-timer pics. :) These were taken the day before our diet.
Maybe these can be our 'before' pictures
These are just a few of my favorite pics!
When we were coming in they were checking your bags for water and they saw my camera and asked if it was 'professional' and if I could take the lens off. They told me I had to bring it to my car or check it with guest services. (um no thanks!) I said "ok" and walked right in and to our seats. oops!
We were setting in the second level in Wells Fargo so we were not close at all. We had a great arial view and the animals looked huge from up there so I can imagine what they looked like up close!
First up : Bare Back
Next: Saddle
(intermission: monkeys on sheep herding dogs...I am not joking)
It really was quite amazing. I have video on my phone if anyone wants to see it. :)
The Rodeo clown. There was some down time between events and riders so this guy had to 'entertain' us. I use the word entertain loosely.
Next: Bulls! (mean SOB's!)
The bulls were fun but only 2 people stayed on for 8 seconds.
Do you see the snot coming out of his nose!!
Do you see this guys face? Awesome.
Then: Barrel races.
Last: The FINALS
These two guys job was to protect the rider from the bull. I think I'll keep my day job.

Overall I give a Rodeo 2 Thumbs up. This one seemed a little drug out, it would have been great if it had more riders and less 'entertainment'. I got a good taste and I would go again. Who knew I had a hidden cowgirl in me?
Its too bad we didn't have the boys to take to the rodeo because they would have LOVED it!
