WARNING!! THIS POST IS FULL OF PICTURES!!
This past weekend we (Brian and I) took the boys to the Center Grove pumpkin patch. I took Drew last year and he had a blast, so we went back to the same place. I didn't get a picture at the entrance like last year. :( and we did not do the sling shot. He STILL doesn't like the slide but we all went down and there was a long line so I didn't get any pictures of that. I think there is enough pictures in this post though, that I don't think you'll notice. Its crazy to look at last year's pictures and notice how grown up he is looking these days.
We had a little picnic in the back of my CAR (I am informed it is not a TRUCK). They loved sitting on the hay bale.....what?! you don't have a hay bale in the back of your car?...does carrying around a hay bale make it a truck? ;)

It is tricky to get Parker to actually look at me for pictures. I don't have him 'trained' yet like Drew...give me time....muwhahaha.
Here he was blowing me kisses. too cute.
Yes we changed their clothes to 'pumpkin patch' clothes.
They DID NOT want help...they wanted to "do it myself"
They liked to ride the tractors, although Drew liked them better last year
!! There I go again snapping pictures. He loves it. :) !!
such focus
Parker was WAY into feeding the goats.
Drew..not so much. He was like 'I'll just throw them in, thanks"
The CORN POOL. Last year Drew wanted NOTHING to do with the corn pool. This year it was the best thing ever. I would have paid $10.00 (yes, I paid to get in this year) just for this.
They had soo much fun!
They JUMPED
and jumped....
and jumped....
and jumped....
and jumped....
and jumped.....
and jumped.....
and jumped.....
and jumped....
and jumped some more.
I may take a zillion pictures (ok, only 488 on this day) but its SO WORTH it to get a shot like this.
and this....snotty nose = corn sticks.
!! Handsome !! ;)
They were throwing corn at us and thought it was hilarious. We did too.
Parker, went to town on the Jump Pillow.
Drew a little more hesitant but he got into it eventually
Yes, Drew is smiling. Love that Kid. Parker is smelling the hay I'm pretty sure. Love that kid too.
!! Another One !! I think I may have been pushing my luck this day on my pictures. :)
um...no - we are not bringing back the giant I don't even know what it is.
They kept hugging the pumpkins.
see! I went too!
How cute is this? seriously?!? (below)
Matching shoe day!! love it!
You know you've had a SUPER FUN DAY....when........

Brian had to take the sleeping pics of the boys since I was driving...so he got me back.
Thought it was only fair that I put it in the blog post. :)

I think this about the 5th time I have looked at this post! Loving all the pictures- yes Brian- even of you --LOL-- fun to see the boys have so much fun together! Blessings that only God gives- true happiness in the delightful play of little children & happiness on their parent' faces.
I agree !! I too look at them just about daily. Love the pure joy of being a "boy" that you seem to be able to capture so well
Glad to see things seem to be going well for you guys! We need to get together sometime so you can actually have a few pictures of yourself that aren't self-portraits! We've been busy moving across Newton, managed to get everything here before Brock had to head to Tennessee for work, but I've got to finish cleaning, filling nail holes, etc at the condo we were in, and try to get boxes unpacked at the new house. Somewhat overwhelmed, but happy to be in a new place! Enjoyed seeing your pics of the boys, looks like they have a lot of fun together. Especially love the one of Drew with the corn stuck to his snot, lol! We go to Carroll's Pumpkin Farm in Grinnell every year; last year Kennedy took her cousin Emilee and they had a blast in the corn pile. We laughed so hard, corn kept falling out of Emilee's pockets, I swear she made a trail back to the car. She spent the night and we were digging corn out of Kennedy's bed for days. Enjoy all your fall activities, I assume the boys will be trick-or-treating together?
