"Garden"

I've been wanting to do a garden with Drew for awhile now.  Those of you who know me I do NOT have a green thumb AT ALL.  I had friends in college who would bring me plants and see how long they would stay alive. true story.  I killed a cactus.  I know right.

So, Memorial Day weekend my parents ended up staying at the house Sunday night and helping out on Monday (thank you) and they helped me with our Garden.

I didn't want a REAL garden...just a baby one to start out and maybe next year we will do more if this actually grows lol.

Maybe Drew will be my green thumb.  He had so much fun.  We planted lettuce, baby carrots, and strawberries.

we were singing "what's gonna work...teamwork"  gotta love wonder pets.

  

  

Everyday I pick him up from school he is like 

"mom, we need to go check our strawberries and I'm going to eat them"

I'm tempted to buy strawberries and put them by there just so he can have them lol. Not sure how long it will take these to grow or how many we get but we will try it.

  

Then the other day we checked outside and I was like

"DREW!!! OUR LETTUCE IS GROWING!!"

It was very exciting.

I will keep you updated on our little garden.  we are very excited about it.
