It WAS warm

It WAS warm here on Sunday.  I believe it got to 80 degrees.  Would never have guessed it on Monday.  It was WINDY and 40 degrees.  Only in Iowa.  *sigh*.

The warm weather was fun while it lasted and I hope it comes back soon!

Drew had so much fun at the park on Sunday.  It takes him a bit to warm up running around so I let him bring his car so he could roll it down the slides (or up them).  Usually if the park is busy he will just stand there and watch people instead of playing. He still does that, but he is getting better.  (I can't blame him, I am a total people watcher myself)



I only let him climb up when its not busy.  He thinks he is pretty cool.



 He is climbing more this year than last year.

If you've hung around Drew even for a little bit you know he does this double clap thing.  This is what he is doing in this picture.



He also LOVES to swing, he could probably swing the whole time we are at the park if I let him.  However swinging does not get HIS energy out....it gets my energy out.  So I tell him we have to take turns and its time to go down the slide now.





He likes to go HIGH!  He picks the swing.
I'm sure by the end of the summer he will be in the big kid swing again.





Back to the slides.  (you know, 'cause we have to take turns on the swings)

On the way home Drew says to me (and I quote) "Mom, its like awesome outside"  Yes buddy, it is.

Can't WAIT for more sunny days to come!
