I took Drew to the Center Grove Orchard today. We were there from 2:30 - 6:30. Oh my Goodness. There were tons to do and I was so overwhelmed! We had a great time...and I'm pretty sure Drew did too.
Where do I begin.......
I started him out in the Corn Pool. He was NOT having it. I don't think he liked his toes out and it was crazy in there and he tends to be a little shy. This is the only picture I have from in there....hard to take pictures of a kid attached to you. I think he has the cutest toes EVER.

He loved the Duck Races. He wasn't quite big enough to get the pump going to race the ducks, but he liked playing with the water at the end.

He gives the tractor rides/bikes whatever they are a THUMBS UP.

He played on these forever. We even left them and came back to them. His little legs barely reached the peddles.

He wasn't the fastest kid on the course (he kept getting lapped) but he had determination and didn't really care about anyone else. He was just focused on making the tractor go! At one point he told me the Tractor needed more gas. Ha ha. I told him to peddle.

but he sure was the cutest little farmer on his tractor.

We tried the bouncy jumpy thing but there were so many kids jumping on it that he went flying a couple of times so we just sat on our bums and bouced on down and that was enough of that.

He finally detached himself from me and went walking ahead (we were going to the big slide) and turned so I could take his picture. I don't have any pics of Drew and I down the slide. Hard to do while you are sliding. But he had fun and we did it a couple of times.
...and back at the ducks. Really? I could just fill up a bath tub and do this for him. =0) He loved it.

He called me over to take his picture. LOVE HIM.
While we were there I got a call from my brother and he said they were going to a pumpkin patch today too and it happened to be the same one! So they met up with us and we hung out a little while longer.
Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sasha took Drew down the slide again. Yeah! Then I could get pictures. Apparently at the top he was crying for mom. What can I say.....I'm his best friend. ;)

Weeeeeeeee
Want to see a close up of Drew's face...Here you go! HA HA HA

Then Drew 'steered' Kyle through the kids maze.

Played hoop the pumpkin with Sasha.

Then I finally convinced him to ride the hayrack! Yeah me! He loved it once he was on there.

See I kept him hydrated for being there so long. I wasn't a fan of the corn maze. I'm not very good at mazes #1 and it freaked me out a little. not going to lie.

Sasha trying to figure out where the heck we were supposed to go...me following.
If you pay* (ahem) you get a chart to punch off all the things you find in the maze. We only found the apple before we got sick of it so we had to take a picture.
He was starting to get tired. Notice hand on forehead, he was hanging on tight. Not sure why I even bother to do my hair somedays.......
Here are some CORNY people for you. (its late right now and I am er funny)

Drew LOVES Crocs. I'm not joking. Well I thought it was going to be cooler today so I had him choose between his tennis shoes or his fuzzy crocs. He chose fuzzy crocs.

PUMPKIN PATCH!!
Drew was determined to pick out the perfect little pumpkin. He was on a mission.
How about this one?....nope....

this one?.....nope.....

perfect pumpkin...where are you?

THERE YOU ARE!
LOOK AT MY PUMPKIN MOM!
Yep. That's the one. It cost me a whole 31 cents. Best 31 cents I ever spent.
We couldn't leave with out doing the Apple Sling Shot of course....

Step one: Pull back

Step Two: Pull back some more

Step Three: Let Go
notice in this picture Kyle let go but Drew did not

the sling shot pulled him forward

notice in this picture Kyle grabbing on to Drew to catch him. LOL.

In my brother's defense it happened on the 4th apple and Drew had let the 3 times before that. Of course it freaked Drew out and he wanted me again but looking at the pictures it still makes me laugh because I can't believe I caught it on camera.
Don't worry, he survived and he had a great time! We will have to go back again!

We left when the sun was just setting.
and you know its a good day when he hasn't let go of the pumpkin even when he is ready for bed.

He would have slept with the pumpkin if I had let him. He had a blast and he loves the pumpkin that HE PICKED. =0)
*I thought you had to pay but when I went in I didn't notice the stands to pay and I just walked right in. oops! I noticed it said Farm Animal entrance and Pumpkin Paying entrance. Well I didn't want to see the farm animals if I had to pay for them so I went the pumpkin route and walked right in. I didn't realize you had to pay until Kyle and Sasha came....oops! I DID pay for his pumpkin though!
