House Construction

Since we are currently living in Montezuma, most of you know that we are building.  Here is a little update on our new house.  I've had these pictures for awhile, just have not had a chance to update.  So here you go!  

Kind of hard to tell TRUE colors on the pictures, but you'll get the idea.

This will be our cabinet color, fireplace tile, carpet, lament flooring and countertops.

The cabinets are a DARK brown, not black.

This will be the house colors, shingle colors and brick style and colors.

Now onto Construction!  They have been moving FAST!!

Started DIGGING!  May 6th

Basement Poured and started Framing May 22nd

Brad drives by the house quite frequently.  

He sent the next 3 to me from his phone.

First Floor up May 31st

Started 2nd Floor June 2nd

Roof June 4th! Say What! (look there are even actual windows!)

We went Saturday when no one was there and took a look around!  Its not quite closed in yet, but that should be done early this week!!  (If it stops raining!)

C-RAZY how fast they can put up a house!  Once it is 100% enclosed we will have a move in date.

We cannot wait!  I have pictures of the inside, but to you it will just look like a bunch of wood at this point and make no sense unless I am with you explaining things so this will have to do for now.

See all the MUD we had to go through to get into the house.  

I made it all the way in and about 2 feet from the curb on the way out when I slipped and went in the mud.  AWESOME.  Could have been worse I guess I could have fell on my bum.  Sigh.
