July 4th Weekend

Warning!

This POST has a lot of pictures! Drew and I had a very busy weekend.

First we went to Pella where my dad continued the lesson on teaching him to drink from a water bottle. He loves to drink from big people cups if at all possible.

I ran into Christine Westercamp and her family and her dad gave Drew a sucker. He loves suckers.

We stayed overnight and in the morning he helped my mom mix pancake batter. Such a big helper.






These are from my mom's back yard. I told her she should sell them. She has a green thumb...I do not.



Oh yeah! My mom gave Drew a trim! Just a trim won out and he still has all his curls! See! Still Super Cute! I think my mom has pictures of the before/after on her camera so you will have to do with from this point forward is after haircut.



Then we went to the lake on Friday. This is one of my favorite faces that Drew makes.

Then we went back to Sully early on the 4th for 5k, parade, and family!

Ok. on the the 5k! I made it the whole way without stopping! I didn't go check my time so I am waiting for the to post it to their website, but they haven't yet. I made it in like 33 minutes plus some seconds.



Here is the before picture of everyone. It was raining, but the rain felt good while we were running.

I am waiting for the group after picture from my Aunt Susie and Uncle Doyle. They also have a few other good ones as well. (hint. hint)

There was food to eat after we ran. I gave Drew a muffin and I took a banana. He wanted the banana so he stuffed the muffin in my mouth. Nice.

The next series of pictures make me laugh.

Why would Drew pick up candy on his own when others can do it for him?

"Humm...Can I have some candy from you Hannah? "

"Yes, why of course Drew...Here pick a piece out that you want." "I'll take the whole bag. Thank you!"


In the afternoon Drew and I went back to the lake to watch the fireworks. He watched the entire show and did not make a sound. I think he liked them. They didn't scare him at least.

"Oh say can you see...."

so maybe he wasn't singing that, but it sure looks like it doesn't it?

This next picture I got because of luck. I have no idea...but I love it!

Today, (Sunday) Pa Pa took Drew down to take Drew in the water. Looks like Pa pa was the only one to get in the water. Cute.
